Ok, from all of my experience on /x/ and studying the occult, here are some books I would recommend.
>Kybalion
>Reality Transurfing
>Chicken Qabblah
>CIA docs on ESP and Remote Viewing
>Quran
>Biblical Apocrypha (including nag hammadi library, gospel of judas, and dead sea scrolls)
>Tao of Physics
>CCRU
>Sorcery- J finley hurley
The above are all things beginners can get into, and they will open the doors to explore further into each of their sections, of course with there being some overlap.
Just as a clear precaution however, I will warn against readily accepting four main doctrines that you will encounter on your /x/ journey.

>gnosticism
>paganism
>taoism
Look into consciousness, look into immateriality and idealism, and while the 4 above can be somewhat enlightening at times, I would urge against using them as a firm metric to compare other belief systems.

I read Liber 777 by Crowley and I have literally no idea what he means in any of it and I'm not even sure I want to know. Are there any good books on Kabbalah that would be a good explanation?

If anyone has a good recommendation, I'd like some simple, comfy, nature-based and folksy mystic stuff to read as well. Something like St. Francis of Assisi but more narrative I suppose. I really liked "The Way of a Pilgrim" but I would've liked it to deal with the land and nature a bit more. That's more only gripe with a lot of mysticism nowadays. It's either sentimental tree hugging or soulless anthropocentricism with no regard to other life.

repeat this process until you find the root of all your questions

sit and observe

those two practices will give you more insight than a library's worth of reading

I've read a shameful amount of the books on the left hand side, and most of the magick ones for some reason, but haven't even heard of most of the writers that are indicated as being 'iron pill'.

Are any of the 'iron pill' books worth picking up?
