I'm sure I'm outing myself as a pleb, but

>The Black Iron Prison
>Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson
>The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are by Alan Watts
>The Demon Haunted World by Carl Sagan
>The Gospel of Thomas
>The Library of Babel by Jorge Luis Borges

Early Wilson was kind of libertarian, but he pivoted hard as he got older.

Haven't gotten around to Cosmic Trigger yet, but I liked The Illuminatus! Trilogy, Prometheus Rising, and some of his talks. I liked how his "philosophy" had practical exercises that you could experiment with.
You ever read/listen to any Alan Watts?

I'd argue that the purpose of E-Prime isn't
>you're TECHNICALLY wrong
But rather a Fullerian exercise in changing the way you think. This is a central tenant in RAW's and Leary's work, the idea that reality is in the eye of the beholder. By opening yourself up to the idea that stuff might not be as it appears to be, you're giving yourself the chance to change your mental programming. If you can learn to shift your perspective at will (what RAW calls a 'reality tunnel'), you might gain a better understanding of capital-T Truth because you're not limiting yourself to one viewpoint.
>tl;dr
>relativism is an exercise to see from other points of view
>other points of view are useful problem solving tools

I greatly enjoy RAW's work, and have some resentment of his inclusion in the 'New Age' section of bookstores. I think the difference is that a lot of new age stuff sells itself on
>this is the way to live a beautiful happy life filled with peace and love
>it was told to me by God/Angels/a dream/the ancients
While Leary & co. were waiting in a back alley
>hey kid,
>you wanna alter your consciousness and experience unbridled creativity?
>only 15% chance you'll develop schizophrenia

I like him. He's kind of like the Carl Sagan of Eastern Philosophy, makes it real easy to get into without being overwhelmed or preached to.

I don't believe anything exists because it's just variations of that heap problem or an agreed upon delusion. There's just some great chaos incomprehensible to the human mind.
>If you have a heap of sugar, how much sugar can you remove until it's not a heap?
And life just seems full of these things that are never clearly defined. What's the functional difference between a book, booklet, pamphlet and page? If a burger is any sandwich containing a ground beef patty, how can I be sure there's not some undetectable amount of ground beef making every sandwich I've ever eaten a burger?

And then there's memes like money and language. These things literally only exist because people agree they do. Even names of things and people are just arbitrary, ordered sounds we make to try to communicate them to other people.
