I'm currently reading pic related. I enjoy it, the science is interesting and has had enough thought put into it that I can accept the premise. But the characters all just scream Pratchett, and make me want to reread Discworld. And then that makes me think of the terrible new TV show that is going to rape the memory of Ahnk-Morpork and I just feel despair for the world. But I would recommend the Long Earth.
