I had a dream last night about butterfly. Me and three other guys went on a cross country rode trip to find her, to find out who she was, because one of the guys, a tallish blonde haired guy with an elongated face and glasses, who kind of looked liked the type that studies math or computer science, very clean cut sort of guy, anyway, that guy was in love with her. So we were kind of on this quest for him, but also to satisfy our curiosity about her. I can't remember much of the inbetween, the places we went along the way. I think our trip ended up on the East Coast, maybe Boston. We were in some building, maybe a University building, or a workplace. Somehow during our trip we had gotten wind of her last name but we didn't know her first name. Anyway, we go up to the receptionist, a middle aged black woman, kind of intelligent face, looks worn out with life, but the kind of wearing out that brings wisdom with it, and we start asking her about this last name. It was Mc-something, I can't quite remember, maybe McCarthy. She starts looking through her list of names, but there's a bunch of McCarthy's. But then, lo and behold, a woman, very short and chubby-verging-on-fat, with her dyed brown with blonde highlights, and also wearing glasses, the small rectangular sort with no rims, starts waddling down the hall. Even though she looks quite different from the pictures of butters that we are all familiar with, we recognize her right away. We excitedly approach her and start prodding her with questions. At first she is kind of cool with it, but gradually, perhaps when she notices our reaction to her lackluster appearance, it quickly turns into one of those awkward caught-on-camera moments in reality TV shows, where the person gets kind of hostile and evasive. She flees from us toward a staircase and makes her escape. Then I woke up.
