Define objective. What you probably mean by objective is merely consensus gentium, truth by collective agreement. If everyone says it's good and thinks it's good, it's good. That isn't objective.

How do you measure objectivity in art? You can't quantify the "aesthetic score" of a story without ladening it with assumptions. Measure brain waves while someone is reading a critically acclaimed book versus a critically derided one? Bullshit, Moby Dick was once seen as a door stopper. All you can do is feel a response to art and make your argument why it is better than something else.
