Really loved this book.

Some of it is very sad but the story about the Hunter getting lost and happening upon a campfire where a bunch of peasant kids are camping out and taking their village’s horses out to pasture is maximum comfy.
Nothing much happens. Just a hunter listening to kids tell ghost stories a campfire.

Some heartbreakingly sad stories in this but there’s one story The Bezhin Meadow about a hunter getting lost in the woods and he happens upon a bunch of peasant kids taking the village’s horses out to pasture overnight. They make a campfire and the Hunter lies down by it and listens to the peasant kids tell each other ghost stories by the campfire.

Anything like this but set in Britain or Ireland?

Id rather live in the Russian serf system than this industrialized irony laden capitalistic machine, which serves as a venom flowing in the veins of artistry. Does the tradition of art stand to be carried through the fog of this time, or are we in need of a step back, a new look at the form of relation we have with existence. Sometimes I think that the worst disaster imaginable would in turn end as the best.
