>Poverty of mind, confusion and perversity of thought will clothe themselves in the most far-fetched expressions and obscure forms of speech, in order to cloak in difficult and pompous phrases small, trifling, insipid, or commonplace ideas. It is like the man who lacks the majesty of beauty, and wishes to make up for this deficiency by clothing; he attempts to cover up the insignificant or ugliness of his person under barbaric finery, tinsel, feathers, ruffles, cuffs, and mantles. Thus many an author, if compelled to translate his pompous and obscure book into its little clear content, would be as embarrassed as that man would be if he were to go about naked.

What women fail to realise is that all these crimes started with a woman. Women gave men of the tree, and men did eat. If women would all just collectively die, the world would be a much better place. Just give it half a century. Soon we will learn to reproduce without women. Invention and creation and progress, after all, are inherently male endeavors. There is no need, after all, for a race that is inferior in every domain of human activity except childbirth.

Well I'm going to point out to you that our lad Schoppy is widely considered to be #1 pessimist extraordinaire, yet for those who have actually read him his work at least has the potential to be one of the most beautiful and spiritually uplifting works ever composed in a European language. Book IV niggas, book IV (both volumes). Because it turns out that your true self, the real anon, is in fact eternal and indestructible. Read alongside some contemporary Vedanta (such as Nisargadatta) for maximum anal tingling. Or just read generally instead of going by memes and here-say like most posters on this board.

>It's all good bro, I wrote that in the morning and was grumpy, have gone for a nice walk, had a nice meal, several drinks etc feel much better. I guess life swings on a pendulum between feeling crap about everything and feeling alright sometimes. That doesn't sound as profound I guess but whatever. Anyway enjoy your pizza.

If writing like an inspired poet is above your capabilities, but coherence is not, then your only option is genre fiction. There lies your salvation, middle aged pepe. The fetishisms of textual diversion called literature.
Don't forget the excessive degeneracy, sprinkled inbetween, you don't wanna miss out on the most powerful fetish of them all: Surreal Realism.

Awareness is the first step, some people walk through life believing they already have all the answers. This humility and acceptance of your flaws is the foundation of honest and gainful inquiry. Also you already possess the thirst for knowing which is an important motivation to keep you learning. The above factors are important because becoming an intellectual takes time and conscious effort, you build up to it slowly. The activity of intellection(barring cognitive impairments) is unlike the physical prowess which is mainly limited by biological factors, but is limited by your own patience and spare time. In the same way that one would accumulate money, one can start to compile a cognitive capital and overtime connect disparate data to eventually collect lucrative dividends. Which is to say with enough hours of your life invested into it you can become an expert in a discipline and once you have the proper tools for learning its easier to repeat the process. You probably know more than you give yourself credit for, it is just lost, disorganized, on a thick jungle of thoughts, an ancient temple awaiting its rediscovery.

Schopenhauer made me realize, how can there be an absolute like Hegel says if Kant irrefutably proved that the individual's understanding represents the objective world i.e. there is a clear division between the thinking subject and represented object, but Hegel says subject and object are the same thing (the absolute) which is superfluous nonsense. The idea of the absolute creates this unnecessary third concept which is really just Hegel's substitute for god

What is philosophy like at uni? Is it worth studying or can you learn just as much alone?
Ive just fucked my shit up and wasted four years doing a sports science degree, and dropped out before graduating.
I have read a decent amount of philosophy the past three years and am not a brainlet.
I am considering studying it in uni if its worth it, other than that Ill be getting neetbux and developing schizophrenia.
