With social media you can also usually find out the interests, hobbies, and personal opinions of prospective employers and mirror them. Everyone loves themselves, so if you remind them of them (without coming off as a threat, mind you) they will love you by extension. "No way, you like Hemingway too? That's wild, Old Man and the Sea is my favorite book... by the way don't you hate Trump/Libtards? They would never appreciate a book with that much nuance/testosterone."
