I don't know if i can be bothered to check them out. I like the anime, but is the book written well enough to justify reading them?

I read part of a fan translation years ago and it was horrible.

I bought a book from a publisher that specializes in japanese translations and they had some plot summary for sci-fi novels at the end of it. It seemed really interesting and different from your usual western stuff.

I really wanted to read the LoGH novels but I doubt they'll ever be translated.
