I want to commission a piece but I want to see how good of a writer you are first. Write an erotic scene about picrel in your best prose that has to do with feet

Recommend me some short books to read. I don't have the patience to read anything too long. I read Siddhatra and I liked it. Something that short or not much longer.

I find it difficult to find a comfortable position to read in. I usually read at least 45 minutes - an hour before bed, and I lay on my side, switching sides every few pages until I fall asleep. Now during the day, I can never find a comfortable way to read, and I don't like getting into bed during the day.

No book. Just do this.

Last few pages of Master and Margarita. It was a good and quite easy read. I recommend it.
I'll probably read The Odyssey again after that and then Ulysses again.

People who are interested in literature should be playing with everything at their disposal, which includes lesser used modes of narration. Everyone complains about the good shit already being done but doesn't want to work with things that defy tradition. You're all a bunch of pseuds. Language is beautiful and flexible and should evoke joy and interest in its entirety. Everything can have value and perceiving a lack of it should encourage you to explore it even more not disregard it.

The common advice I see on this board is to write every day no matter how hard it is. I've tried this and it's just agonizing with a horrible result. Wouldn't the better advice be to curate an environment and time every day where good writing may take place instead of forcing it?

Can /lit/ help me find the name of a book I read many years ago in elementary school?

All I remember is that there was this sect of women/girls living in a network of caves. I think they were priestesses or nuns of some sort? Then a male adventurer / prince like guy somehow gets into the cave and meets a girl, another protagonist. The two elope together and sail a boat into the ocean where an adventure of some sort occurs. What book was that?
