Are the xeelee books worth reading? Everyone seems to think it’s either one of the greatest science fiction series of all time or powerscaler bait lodged several miles up it’s own ass.

Is it worth giving a read? Everyone I’ve seen seems to think it’s either one of the most fascinating science fiction series ever written or that it’s convoluted powerscaler bait completely stuck up it’s own ass.
