I agree with this premise, but I also don't.
Memory and Consciousness are not the same. Consciousness uses Memory. Even if you were wiped clean of it, (you) would still be there. Memories are Memes of the Mind, embedded with emotions, errors and past perceptions. Memories just track your experiences and how these reacted with your Psyche and other individualsl.
