>Why does God allow evil?
The suffering humans undergo due to illness, famine, disease, natural disaster etc. is as a result of our fallen state. We disobeyed God and we were forced to leave paradise and enter into the world where suffering would befall on us. Both humans and the Devil are to blame for this. Any person who would've been in Adam or Eve's position would have done as they did because it is part of our nature to succumb to temptation and God allows us to do this because of free will. Satan will be punished for tempting us and while humankind has suffered terribly for the original sin we are, in the end, forgiven of it.

In relation to evil committed by people on people, why does God let this happen? It is my belief that God has ceased to intervene in human affairs since the Revelation. Once that was revealed to John, the Seven Churches, and, by extension, humanity, God had said all he needed to say. He personally had taught us how to live correctly, he showed us the path to salvation, and revealed that while the world will eventually end, paradise awaits and that the suffering of the good and righteous will not be in vain and that they shall experience some kind of evolution of man and existence so unbelievably beautiful that it shall be worth all the pain we have experienced. Furthermore, it is my belief that while God allows evil deeds to be committed, they will not go unpunished. Remember: "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
