The Cyborg Manifesto is a very good read, in case there's anybody in this thread that's actually interested in its purported subject matter

Men are arrogant fools who believe anything you put in front of them as long as it says they are the most real the most true creatures on this planet.

Learn to accept your own subjectivity fuckbois. Women had to do it centuries ago.

Also women write better smut. ;)

Putting together a summer reading list. If I get through it it will be a miracle, given my miserably poor attentiveness. Some going towards thesis, mostly for pleasure:

Bester- The Demolished Man
Sorel- Reflections on Violence
Sartre- Nausea
Melville- Moby Dick
Hemmingway- For Whom the Bell Tolls
Chaucer- The Canterbury Tales
Shelley- Frankenstein
Dostoyevsky- Crime and Punishment
Spenser- The Faerie Queen
Rene Girard- Violence and the Sacred
Nietzsche- Thus Spake Zarathustra
Sinclair- Automatic World
Heinlein- Starship Troopers
Gibson- Something other than Neuromancer

Thoughts, additions, suggestions?

Anyone read Donna Haraway's "A Cyborg Manifesto?"

It's one of those statement-based, logic-scant works that is great at making me feel like an absolute moron.
