I've had one in the works for over 2 years or so. It's set on a planet isolated from post-human colonized planets where previous humans preformed experiments and create an artificial god. They do, but the humans who control it die in the process due to an unrelated eviceration of humans with a new subspecies, but that's not important for this story. There, the gods create a main, monothestic god, and multiple other ones to shape the empty planet that exists before them. They're imbued with human and anthrocentric beliefs because humans are retards, so when they create life, they're basically just human. Although, one of the gods, a devil-esque deity, creates a race of demons and uses them to impregnante over 1/3rd of the humans on the planet. This causes him to be banished to one of the planet's moons.

As time passes, humans began to evolve into different forms, such as elvish, orcish, demon halfbreeds, winged creatures, and fairies. This is over a time period of 100,000 years or so, and each race create their own cultures and societies.

This is all the buildup btw, the real story is a bloke sells his soul for booze money, breaks the deal with a demon, and has his soul taken to the hell-like moon. His friend, a halfbreed demon, asks for help from her dad to kill her for a few minutes and revive her before she dies. She has 3 minutes on the planet, but on the moon, time is slower, so she has 9 days to travel across the moon as a soul to bring her friend back.

It's still a bit rough around the edges, hell, I haven't even decided how the planet looks to begin with, but I like fantasy and it's a nice change of pace from the 6 sci fi stories I'm also working on.
