I've got a quick question about proper formatting. Google's failed me, so hopefully one of you wouldn't mind giving me a pointer. How should a character remembering past dialogue of another character be formatted? Third-person limited, of course. For example:

He started torrenting the file as soon as he got home. 'Don't worry,' Steve had said, 'nobody ever tracks anything back.' Steve had been wrong.

Is that correct? Would Steve's flashbacky dialogue be italicized?
