as for the rest of your "argument", you're appealing to authority figures to vindicate yourself. in your opinion, if it isn't specifically stated by an authority figure then it isn't true. Read up on map and territory you intellectually-insincere gremlin. Truth is truth, and what you can find a convenient NYT-approved source for is a different matter. What "proof" is needed when you can open your eyes and LOOK at what is and is not getting published. What great works of literature have come out in the past five years? Where are the modern Tolstoys, Steinbecks, and Dostoevskys? We have more people writing than ever and less works worth reading than ever. What does get published? #ownvoices #stronkwimmins #poc #writersofcolor and other absolute pozz. We get YA, we get "minority" whining, we get white bashing. Where is the literature? It's incredibly obvious to anyone with their eyes open that there is something terribly wrong, terribly biased, a definite agenda behind what gets through the establishment gatekeeping. Walk into any bookstore and look at their contemporary shelf. Whether your precious figures of authority (who are the criminals themselves) give you a convenient source to walk around with or not has NO BEARING on the truth of the situation.
