Let's not forget that Chomsky is a trust fund daddy and he's raising trust fund babies. The man is a hypocrite of the highest order, regardless of any theoretical insights he may have had in his career. Of course he would disavow those because he thinks that quoting an endless stream of citations and facts amounts to erudition and he fails to make the intuitive leap required to enter the realm of theory in the first place, binding him to the inadequacies of his own project and tactics.
