So, /lit/, what does everyone think of Victor Hugo? Personally, while I believe his writing style is a bit dry, enjoy his work. It has a mesmerizing quality to it, almost poetic (which is fitting, because that is what he did). I'm currently working my way through, well, Les Miserables. I'm well over halfway finished, and I'm enjoying it. So, what's the popular opinion on his writing?
