Why are people attatched to arbitrary things like race, gender, nationality, etc? What are some books that critique the concept of identity?

is morality relative? does moral relativism lead to nihilism?

A lot of philosophers try to answer the question of what is Good, but why must Good be prioritized over Evil in the first place?

Are there novels written in a poetic fashion? You know, meter, alliteration, deliberate wording, all that stuff, but still recognizably a work of prose?

Why have I gone through 4 years of uni and have always heard about Foucault, Derrida, Heidegger, and Butler and have barely heard of Deleuze or Baudrillard? The only mention of Deleuze I have heard of is when one of my profs had asked "God forbid, has anyone here read A Thousand Plateaus?" Is /lit/ the only place where they are taken seriously?

How come anti-sjws more toxic than sjws?

I remember back when I was in middle school, I had a strict policy that if I started to read a book, I would finished it no matter what. Now I struggle to finish anything.

Maybe I'm reading the wrong books? Maybe high literature is just boring? Here are the books I read as a kid, I'm going off of memory so it's an incomplete list

This is where my passion for reading start to decline I admit. There's way more books that I read than just I listed, but they were random titles I got from just browsing the Biblioteca. From memory I think I just read school assignments in highschool.
