There's a slightly Christian slant, but it's less evangelical and much more traditional. There's a lot of sympathy for the Ancient, Medieval, and Early Modern periods. Nearly all the philosophy in the classes is Continental, too.

More than one of my classmates converted to Catholicism after going through the course, which is pretty amusing considering Baylor is Baptist as fuck.

It's cool to see another Baylor Bear on here, especially another Great Texts major. Who were your favorite professors? I fucking loved Miner, if you had him. Took several classes with him, including an intensive study on Aquinas.

You know, for a cheaper (and admittedly somewhat inferior) version of this education, you could go to Baylor University and major in Great Texts of the Western Tradition.
