Any literature on the relatively esoteric knowledge of physiognomy? Obviously Vaught's work is a handy vademecum on character judgement through physical appearance, but there is a lack of deeper reflection on physiognomy. Examples being how the soul reflects through a person's eyes, how going against God and the natural order makes a man uglier etc.
I haven't been able to source much on this topic, so wondering if you anons have suggestions? Any language goes.
