I am having a hard time reading philosophy and an even harder time finding reasons to read it. The essays I have written for PHI101 makes me feel like a talentless pseud. Is it normal to disgree vehemently with philosophers? What is the goal of philosophy because my Prof already starting to lecture us on female embodiment which I'm not sure is political?

Also, the passages are written abstrusively that it takes me up to 10 minutes to understand one page. Plato is easy reading but Hume is fucking hard man.
