It's the banned from his local library anon. Here's my Monday night update after working Columbus Day.

The unofficial office ban on 'sissy blue boards' in the workplace persists. For anyone who does not remember, my boss made me come in on the holiday even though he wasn't on the schedule. Despite the fact that he was not there, I did not browse /lit/ at all due to his 24/7 virtual access to my machine. At this time, due to my pending union status, I have no rights in the workplace and there is nothing I can do about that. A number of times I believe I saw my cursor move ever so slightly. For that reason, I suspect he was vigilantly monitoring my activity from his home. Everything was going smoothly. I took my scheduled lunch and, since he was not there, felt comfortable leaving my machine and the building for the hour. When I returned I found another /handsome men/ thread on my screen in full view for the rest of the office. At first, I thought he had put someone else up to it. But then I noticed my boss was standing in the corner behind the bamboo plants watching for my reaction. I pretended I didn't see him. Or even hear him when he started audibly snickering. He was being so loud about it that it was clear I knew. Then, after a few minutes, he said, very loudly, "Man I get a kick out of these plants!" and he came out from the corner and directly to my machine. "Man anon, what have you got there?" he asked gesturing toward my screen from behind me. I have learned better over the course of the last few months than to 'x' out of any of the windows he 'pranks' (I don't even think this is the right term) me with on my screen. I do not touch these windows at all; if I interact with red board material, it can be considered a demonstration of knowledge of and use of pornographic material which would be grounds for termination. His question did not make sense; at the time the /handsome men/ thread was being covered by a veneer of our agency's own website though I knew what he was referring to. I did not answer him. Then he asked me why I was being such a 'blue meanine' and insinuated it was because he had made me work Columbus Day. Then he corrected himself and said 'Indigenous People's Day' and commented that a 'blue board boy' such as myself would prefer it put that way. 'Wouldn't ya?' he asked me a couple of times. Then he left me alone. At the close of business I had to shut off my machine my unplugging it, rather than the usual ('x'ing out all windows and logging off appropriately) in order to avoid interacting with the thread he left earlier. He has power over me.

Hey, it's the anon who was banned from his local library. Just got the call from my Boss that I will be working Columbus Day so I won't be able to post here on Monday. Now that he has upped to monitoring my screen the full 7 hours I am at the office, I doubt I will have a moment to even browse. Even if I do, his request to virtually access my machine has been approved and he will see everything I see. Due to my pending union status there is nothing I can do. And all decisions regarding union status are postponed until the shutdown is behind us. I don't feel comfortable leaving my cubicle for long periods now anyway, since I often come back to find a /handsome men/ thread opened on my desktop for the entire office to see. In our email correspondence he insisted on calling it COLUMBUS DAY in all caps and mentioned it five times in a three sentence email. He told me earlier in the week that he's going to say Columbus Day often around me because it is his belief that all blue board people prefer to hear 'Indigenous People's Day.' I personally don't care but he has brought it up now in person four separate times and would not let up in each instance until I admitted that this was true. He has power over me.

Boss caught me on a blue board at work again. He has now upped to monitoring my screen the full 7 hours I am there. He requested virtual access to my machine. Now that he has it, every so often when I am in the middle of work-- or worse, when I have stood up to go to the bathroom or to stretch my legs, I come back to find a /handsome men/ thread opened on my desktop for the entire office to see. My only solace is my phone but I still have to use the office network. Last week he referred to me as 'a blue meanie' because he thought it was /mu/, He now knows it is /lit/ and has begun to call me Beauregarde. He says he's going to think of something that sounds more 'pet' to embarrass me further.
