Did people generally like this book? I am actually from New York City, and even I thought it was way too much fellation of this place, not to mention really hamfisted in its moral of "diversity good and Lovecraft was racist".
Also actually kind of racist itself as shit despite it trying to be woke. Having the Asian character's one distinct trait be "good at math" was hilarious.
