Tell me if my theory is garbage but i have an honest opinion. Why live if not to soak up as much pleasure from life as you can? Ultimately it may be pointless but pleasure and happiness are tangible feelings to strive for. A goal, a purpose being to experience as much as possible before death regardless of entropy and the void.

The whole concept of psychological ladders to keep us locked in, climbing, is quite scary. From game development to social networks to careers. Survival of the fittest is still relevant in a laughable way.

Hey guys, how do I more effectively absorb knowledge when reading a book?

I don't mean textbooks, just interesting non-fiction books which are engaging at the time but I struggle to recall anything specific. Thanks.
