Call of the Cradle

The Gardner book with a newborn baby as its protagonist. It’s even nuttier than Call of the Crocodile. The basic plot is that a leprechaun is trying to burn down Chicago and the baby and his mom are trying to survive

My favorite is the one with the baby covered in fire. That’s the only other one I read other than Croc. I liked the cover a lot more after reading it. Because the story is about the same kid from Croc but when he’s a baby. The cover is like that because there’s a leprechaun trying to burn down Chicago. So the baby is like in constant fear of it in the story. It was metal as fuck. The book started off with the kids mom getting set on fire by the leprechaun while she’s walking the kid in his stroller. It kind of becomes a clusterfuck toward the end with all the wacky Gardner twists. But it had some creepy imagery. The baby in the book also has the most ridiculous plot armor I have ever seen in all of literature. There is actually a scene where the kid eats a bottle of steroids and beats up the leprechaun. I couldn’t fuckin believe what I was reading.

Something I’ve found out in his books is that there is no clear way of looking at the Jews, there are actually good Jews, and bad Jews. Contrary to popular belief Jews who support globalism and those who support Israel are not the same. The latter are actually on our America’s side, on the Catholic church’s side, and generally allied with Christians. The bad Jews are actually the super duper progressive side and even most likely to be held hating, this is the Epstein circle for instance

I’m telling you his books are like a mind expanded and all the money goes to a hood cause. Don’t let stubbornness stop you from finding the truth

The closest thing I can think of is this F Gardner book where the protagonist is a literal baby

It’s a unique style. I think he was going for a metal album style cover thing. Except as if they’re drawn by kids. Since the books are about kids in really fucked up dark situations.
I was taking about this one before in another thread. Pic is about a baby who’s trying to escape a leprechaun thing that’s trying to burn him alive. The book is from the baby’s perspective and the kid clearly doesn’t fully understand what’s going on other than he’s in danger.

So it’s definitely a style thing. I mean you can even see it in the covers. They’re like metal album style covers drawn by children. Because the books are edgy as fuck but have mostly children characters in hellish situations.
Look at this cover. The baby is literally burning in fire. The plot is told mostly through Pete as a baby and his experience of trying to survive the leprechaun thing trying to burn him alive. That’s really metal but like from the view of a kid who doesn’t really understand what’s going on

One of the more obscure meme books from here. It has a newborn baby as it's protagonist and is about a leprechaun trying to burn down the city. Most of the suspense is from the baby not fully understanding just how serious the situation is. Honestly really unique and insane. It starts off with the baby's mom getting burned alive by the leprechaun and gets increasingly off the rails with the baby crawling away trying to escape.

I’m a couple chapters in. This whole thing feels like a joke gone way too far.

>"It starts off with a baby who's mother get burned alive by a leprechaun who wants to burn down the city (Chicago). The baby is the main protagonist and it becomes like a horror version of Baby's Day Out. It's ridiculous but genuinely really interesting because of it's originality. Most of the plot is told from the baby's perspective and the creepiness comes from the baby realizing somthing's wrong but not fully understanding just how serious the situation is"

Okay this sounds neat. Why do you guys just talk about the crocodile one?

Why is it only the Crocodile book I ever hear about? I read this one and Crocodile and this was the way better book. Also Horror's Call General i guess. While I want to talk about these books this stuff seriously needs to start having containment threads.
Which should I read next?
>inb4 any order you want
No. I want to read the good ones first. If I'm in the mood to read the bad ones later I'll consider it then.
