The usual definition is irrelevant in this case. If the first 4 premises are right, then chairs (and every other being) are necessary beings: people who define God as "the only necessary being" would simply have to reject your argument.
To be more explicit: your argument fails because it is incapable of individuating any contingent being.

tru the left is extremely fragmented and cant agree on anything but i think the overpowering force of disagreement on 4chan is first and foremost the nature of 4chan tho

here, let me pitch it another way. in order for an ideology to function, it needs to have a gap which can be filled with whatever fantasy or projection the person is bringing. as far as Jaws goes, the acuality of the film, it really is just a shark. but, because it is /just a shark/, it leave the space for someone to read their own metaphor in. it's a good example of ideology because an empty shark has the space for projections from all sides of the political arena. watch the Ode to Joy video if you want more

I've seen tankies claim Zizek was a CIA disinfo agent sent to poison the left, and liberals call him a crypto-fascist. He is against postmoderism, political correctness, and tolerance. If there is some "left ideology" out there, Zizek isn't a part of it.
Also, had you actually read him, you would know he doesn't even think ideology is dispensable, you can't escape it.

Since soviet jokes seem to be the theme...

Lenin went to a primary school in inspection. The pupils were told to shout his name repeatedly while he enters and while he leaves the classroom.

Lenin enters, everyone shouts "Lenin! Lenin!". The teacher asks the class: "who wants to tell comrade Lenin a poem?". One of the kids stands up and shouts "Our cows are bloated with farty gas / Who wants to suck it out their ass?" and, upon hearing this, Lenin leaves the classroom infuriated and ashamed. Everyone shouts "Lenin! Lenin!".

Zizek just admitted, in the first few seconds of this talk, that he had surgery for kidney cancer, as well as having his usual problems (diabetes, prostate trouble, face paralysis).

Is it over bros? Will we all soon sniff in sadness over his passing and so on? I'm genuinely bummed out.
