Just finished "Contact" by Carl Sagan. Now, it's my favorite novel. Have any of you guys read it? What do you think?

Hi /lit.
Do u know any books that have a lot in common with science? I don't mean pop-science books. Just fiction. Like Pynchon's Crying of Lot 49 for example, where the story is constructed according to principles of a scientific theory. (entropy and Heisenberg's uncertainty principle).
Or where scientific theme plays a big role...
