I am suddenly unable to write any poetry. I think I've crossed the barrier of true dread to the point that it's left me creatively bankrupt.
I can't feel anything.

i "fall in love" every time a cute woman talks too me and treats me nicely, however what i describe as "love" here is likely not an accurate usage of the word, as i have never truly fell in love with a woman

The more Expanse novels I read, the worse opinion I have about Jame S. A. Corey.
Up until the Nemesis Games I used to think that this series was going to be about the protomolecule and uncovering the mystery of the dead alien civilization. Meawnwhile they dedicated fifth and sixth book to some pointless war and in the seventh and eighth it wasn't much better, the main topic from the first books was barely brushed. (Un)fortunately the ninth book is going to be the last one and I wonder what will the authors deliver. Their novels are quite long but on the other hand, I'm afraid the story may be to compressed, if they decide go explain what were those aliens and what killed them.
Right now it looks like they had an interesting idea but didn't know how to develop it.

I plan to get out of it all a year or two from now, maybe have one computer running linux but no social media accounts at all just an email account since it's considered necessary for jobs in this day and age

He's an ethnonationalist hoping for change in multiple countries. There's a reason that his 'justifications' are (among many things) the names of victims that died in different countries, they're part of the same race and face (as he sees it) a common enemy.

You ought to care about national identity (and arguably racial identity) to some extent or your family and your precious community will end up in the same situation as many others.It doesn't happen to you or in your community at present but demographics are shifting every year.
