I attempted to read out of doors once and once only. The sounds of children "playing", wind blowing the pages askew, pollen molesting my olfactory nerves, and hooligans like these racing by in their wretched automobiles and referring to me as a bundle of sticks made it all but impossible.

Back in his hay day he could read around 1000 pages an hour and retain most of what he had read.
Can you imagine having that kind of ability?
You could read Infinite Jest, Gravity's Rainbow, War and Peace, Ulysses, The Bible and The Recognitions in one day.
Just a thought.

do you think you could do analogies of body types to literary genres/periods?
