>human beings are a product of random mutation, we are little specs of dust living on a large spec of dust called earth which is just a tiny part of an uncaring, slowly dying universe. There is no point to anything

>OH MY GOD how dare you be racist, homophobic, transphobic, you piece of shit?!?!? Haven't you heard of human rights and being a decent human being? Is it that hard to not be an asshole?!?!?

Why do skeptical materialists tend to be the biggest moralizing & sentimental faggots on the planet positing incoherent nonsense like "human rights" that must be followed to a T?

>If western society is grounded in utilitarian thinking: something is morally good when it creates the most good at the cost of the least bad
>Causing pain is bad. You wouldn't hurt somebody unless you have a good reason
>Animals can feel pain. You would probably choose to hurt an animal over a person, but you'd still prefer to avoid it
>Animals feel pain when we farm/kill them for food
>We don't need to eat animals to survive
>Therefore killing animals for food causes a lot of real bad for some dubious good (tasty burgers)

ok guys.
can you pls tell me what do you learn in literature degrees?

should I go there (college is free here)?
or should I simply check their curriculum and read the books and maybe pay for a creative writing workshop?
