Really this fragment for me was to see two mortal enemies who transcend history to meet once more and exterminate each other. There's a lot of stuff going on between Udo and El Quemado. Great book. The parts when Udo talks and writes about the game and the people surround it is just fantastic. The reference to the final days of Hitler made a live action role-playing game in a german city, although brief, is fabulous.
