Hey /lit/, I'm interested in reading some detective novels, preferably with your cliche protag who doesnt afraid of anything and doesnt strictly follow the rules, similar to Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files. It having any supernatural aspects does not matter. Rebus from the Ian Rankin novels would also be an example of what I'm after.

Any recommendations?
