I don't know how anyone writes poetry unironically anymore. It always feels artificial and cringe now. The only poets I can read without feeling secondhand embarrassment are Yeats and earlier. I don't know why. Maybe it's just me. It literally prevents me from writing it though, because it feels like writing poetry today is disingenuous.

I looked in the mirror yesterday and I am so ugly. It kind of explains all my failures and how people dislike me. I am going to fail in life because normies dislike me. It's incredible how easily normies at work fit in with each other and how quickly they sense I'm not a normie.

I saw that many Giant Bomb people are leaving and I watched some of their final podcast. I haven't browsed the site since around 2011 and even then only in a shallow way (compared to the parasocial stuff they pioneered) but it did make me feel very old. Seeing them immediately made me think, ">Men don't hit the wa-". I will be like that in 12 years. Feels awful. And it's kind of strange the site even exists at this point.

I was also reminded of the existence of TVTropes and it's like a black hole sucking in deeply autistic people with sub-100 IQs.
