What is the best way to study the bible to gain a deep understanding of it? Is reading the bible alone enough or is it necessary to read other books to guide you?

Books whose writers you wish you could go back in time and kill to stop them from being written.

so has anyone actually seen god or heaven or hell and can prove that they exist? If god could be proven to exist, wouldn't there be no more religions, because there would be no faith, it could just be factually verifiable?
