Why do you care about what randos who you'll never see again think of you?

may have been asked already many times but is there a to-go place to look for editions of works with macrons included? I don't need anything fancy otherwise, just macrons
my Latin is generally already good enough but I regrettably didn't pay as much attention to long and short vowels when learning and I'd like to try and fix it by just reading

I was filtered by Theaetetus' first answer to Socrates' question (knowledge as perception) and Socrates' response, honestly I just find it confusing.

What one would you recommend?

I understand the apprehension of not going forward with Plato until having a sufficient knowledge of the Presocratics, but I believe I've read through them enough at this point (having read McKirahan's Philosophy Before Socrates and the fragments of Heraclitus, Parmenides, Empedocles, and Anaxagoras as well as some secondary literature). However, I am completely unfamilar with Diodorus Cronus. Any books you'd recommend concerning him? On the issue of error, for most thinkers I try to suspend judgement completely until I have an adequite understanding of what the thinker actually thinks. I take a perspective that mixes the epistemologies (at least how I percieve them) of Heraclitus and Lev Shestov: there is no way a human being can actually, objectively come across metaphysical truth due to the issue of the universe' constant flux, however that does not mean all systems are worthless because of universal uncertainty. Systems should be studied but not followed as objective truth. For me, the most important part of a philosophical education is learning different perspectives, seeing their similarities and differences, and gaining a better understanding of both what I believe and what others believe. Because of this, curiosity drives me to look into the systems of others. Of course that doesn't mean I follow the previously mentioned concept as gospel, for me, all things are possible.

Why wouldn't one idolize Shakespeare and Dante? They're two of the greatest authors of all time.

Lev Shestov's All Things Are Possible, St. Augustine's Confessions, and Presocratic fragments (especially Heraclitus and Parmenides) are the works that had the greatest impact on me personally
