Does anyone else narrate their daily life as though they were the main character in a book?
for example
"Does anyone else narrate their daily life as though they were the main character in a book?" Anon wrote while having a coughing fit that resulted in a mouthful of brown mucus laden with the residue of a cheap cigar. He was about to make a post on the forum called 4chan when his roommate came into his room and asked him if he could borrow his copy of Persona 4.
"It's on the desk below the Toy Story DVD." He replied while looking up at the pitiful state of his room now boasting a pile of roughly eighty beer cans.
"At least I think it is," he said while second guessing the arrangement of his cupboard.
"Aight, thanks man," replied his roommate in a hurry while traipsing through the remnants of a beer holocaust.

I mean seriously it's all day. Am I the only one? Do I read too much, or am I insane? Even now I'm narrating the way i'm writing this sentence. WTF?

I'm going to be institutionalized in a mental ward any day now. I'm fine with it, but I need books. What are the best books to study and meditate on, if one has aspirations to be a writer?
