I don't get what the appeal is for this book. I forced myself through the entire thing and I genuinely did not like it. Is there something I'm missing? Is this just babby's first Afghani history?

I thought it would be normie-core but it was really great.

Flying to Kuwait in a few days, need some advice - can I bring "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini with me? I heard great things about it, and I think it would be fun to read in the Middle East, IF I won't get into trouble for having it with me...

What do you think of this book, /lit/ ?

I just finished it last night and thought it was pretty shitty but i can't really say why. I think it was because i really hated Amir and really couldn't get over how much of a whimp he was. It might be something else but I can't quite put my finger on it.
