/lit/ - Literature

I need to do a report for school and it has to be based on a book that was based on WW1 or WW2. I was wondering if you guys had anything good, I just need something I haven't read already. Any suggestions would be great

I was also looking at the graphic novel Maus. A friend recommended I read it. I wander the value of it beyond entertainment.

How does /lit/ feel about Maus? I just finished reading it and feel a discussion is in order
