Today’s my 21st birthday and I have no friends to spend it with. Another year of life wasted. On the upside, I was recently accepted into nursing school. Once I finish in two years, I’ll finally be able to move far away and start a new life.

My 21st birthday is coming up. I hate birthdays, especially significant ones. They just remind me I’m a loser with no friends that has wasted another year of life. My family always does something big for my birthday even though I’ve expressed that I would prefer something smaller. I appreciate the thought and love them for it, but making a big deal out of my birthday makes me feel even worse about it. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t cry myself to sleep on my birthday.

Does anyone else feel like they have short term memory problems? I feel like my short term memory has been declining. Like I just got out of a shower and realized I washed my hair twice because I forgot I had washed my hair the first time after I did it. Granted, I was in the shower for a long time and I was lost in my thoughts, but it’s still worrying.

Why does this get me every time?

/lit/ how do I concentrate while reading? Every time I try read I get distracted instantly or read in autopilot without actually taking in what I was reading.
I really want to try learn some shit but my low attention span is killing me
