The Little Stranger - boring, nihilistic (in a bad way) and tedious
House of Suns - horrible sci-fi with made-up technology and no real human drama
Only Revolutions - fucking terrible on every level
The Trial - paragraphs that last for pages, rambling, stupid

I've already read Kafka on the Shore and Chronicle, before you suggest them. I'm sick to death of 250 page books by him, like After Dark or whatever. Please recommend me something, and I want fiction. Thanks /lit/, you're okay!
