Are the romances depicted in literature simulacra?

I'm constantly seeing posts online about infidelity, failed relationships, etc, and it's bumming me out. Why can people not be good to each other?

I like rock climbing, it's pretty comfy and the people are friendly. I wish I wasn't so weak and terrible though.

How does one transition from small talk with a tinder girl to actually meeting up, etc? And what timeframe should you be trying to advance the relationship in?

Tried it because I'm lonely and not really that autistic in the grand scheme of things (have had women actually show interest in me before, etc) and I thought I may be able to sort through the filth and meet someone interesting. That was a mistake, the entire app is filled with bugwomen and should be burned to the ground.

I did match with one semi-cute /out/ girl who seemed pretty cool, she spoke Italian and had decent taste in film. We texted and snapchatted for a little but then she ghosted me and I gave up on the app.
