Ultimately it's your story bro, so it's your decision. However, you want to make sure that conflict is what's driving your story and that you are somehow progressing the plot with each chapter/scene.

Here's a great resource for new fantasy writers. This is Brandon Sanderson, and he finished the Wheel of Time series after Robert Jordan died, and is known for his Mistborn series among other things. He breaks down a lot of important concepts like info dumps, showing vs telling, making characters proactive, etc. I highly recommend viewing them. It's a course he taught at BYU (Yeah Mormonism is total bullshit but this dude is a very accomplished fantasy writer and don't judge him by his faith).
