I liked the thread about escaping hyperreality. It made me feel contempt for hysterical guys like peterson who cling to some false residues of meaning. Coldness be my god.

What is some essential fin de siecle literature? Something that would match the dark chromaticism of late romantics in music i.e. Wagner, Mahler, Wolf or early tonal Schoenberg. Apologies if too specific, probably not much fits this description.
