Is it unethical to be rude to people?

A lot of the time, I get annoyed when people don't follow my understanding of what's polite. It feels justified in my head to think negatively of them, but if it's not ethically wrong, I shouldn't have any grounds to blame them. What do you guys make of this? Do small matters of politeness count as ethical actions?

Anyone else here like being sad? I know it takes a special kind of masochism to really give expression to it, but I'm inclined to believe most people feel this way more often than they like to admit. I mean that it's enjoyable to feel a gloomy and mellow kind of blue instead of a soul-crushing despair kind of sadness. It's what I think gives pictures of ruined cities and barren landscapes an almost nostalgic type of longing
