Not finished yet. I'll definitely ask around once it's ready if someone is interested though.

Starting with the Broken Sword, then I'll move on to the Worm Ouroboros as they are the shortest. Then I'll do The Night Land and Gormenghast triology, thanks for the suggestions guys.

Space fantasy isn't exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll save the title

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I'm fairly new to fantasy and have already read the Lord of the Rings, because it does seem to be religion in this genre.

There's nothing wrong with that. Personally I just love seeing the English language arranged in beautiful and inventive ways.

Also, I just wanted to say that I fully support your opposition against Article 13 and EU's abysmal attempts at regulating the web, it's beyond retarded. But one step back does not change a forwards trend.

I see you're bringing out the heavy arguments, how can I ever recover?

the reason this is silly is because: is every piece of writing where someone winds up far from home a wwi allegory?

is moby dick retroactive wwi allegory since the sailors find themselves in a dagerous situation surrounded by a monster far from home with no hope of reinforcement?

the reason people hate allegory fags is that you see it everywhere and interpret every detail as support for the allegory you see. you are literally no better than conspiracy theorists and nothing of value is added by seeing allegory in something which is a big reason tolkien himself didn't like it, its pleb hack nonsense only jerkoffs puff up their chest for "noticing"

Is there a more sophmoric term than "late capitalism"?

Every mediocre 22-year-old thinks it's some kind of sentence-enhancer that will make him look smart, so he uses it like fucking old bay seasoning

Alternatively, those who wish to delve into the author rather than the text are simply buying into the idea of celebrity and fetishizing it to the degree of considering the study to be scholarly, rather than a distraction.

How do I write a story with a main character who comes off as unlikeable at first and manage to keep the reader interested in what happens to him?

There is content on /lit/ which is repeated ad nauseam, for example:
>What's the best e-reader?
>What writing software do you use?
>What's the best computer for a writer?
I'm sure you will find some more questions of this kind.
These kind of rather technical questions and their answers should be added to the /lit/-wiki, so we can concentrate on our literature.
LET'S MAKE LIT GREAT AGAIN
PUT TECHY STUFF ON THE WIKI
>inb4 it never was great
