Scientists do not have any possession of science. Religions have granted themselves authority over faith even they don't actually have any. Religious people conform to religious structures because they don't read their own scriptures, they take the establishment as being a fundamental part of the faith.

You can be the last person on earth, praying on a bare grass field and still be a Christian, Muslim or other.

I have hundreds, but i need some suggestions :p

Can /lit/ recommend me books about finding purpose in life?

I'm looking for novels/treatises that deal with the topic.

Okay, there seems to be a HUGE misunderstanding here causing tension.

Most of you agnostics believe that Atheism means believing fully that there is not god. This is what I thought atheism meant as well.

These atheists are saying that atheism does not outright deny the existence of a God, therefor, they(atheists) believe in what you agnostics would call agnosticism, but what actually is atheism.

So......everyone on here really believes the same thing....except there is massive confusion of the definition and stances of these terms.
