I have a TrekStor 3.0
pretty happy with it.
bought it for 50 bucks in 2011
then forgot about it for a decade, and only used irl books, until i saw this thread.

idk what's different to expensive ones,
you can read, look at pictures, play music,
it has a microSD slot and 2gb storage.

it can play EPUB, PDF, TXT, FB2, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG

good enough for me.
