I like the very ending of Dark Tower otherwise yes book 4 was the last good one.
I would say Gunslinger is exceptionally good and different from a lot that I've read. It's standalone in a way.

You're coming off like a pseud now. I've read hundreds of books from my culture and now I'm exploring japanese literature, since I hadn't looked into that before. I'm liking it so far.
